The General Secretary of SLFP, Minister Mr. Duminda Dissanayake said there is no challenge to SLFP if Mahinda made even ten parties. Minister replied this for a question asking about the media reports that Mahinda Rajapaksha has decided to form a new political party of aiming the future provincial council election.
It is good to make a new party than destroy the party with standing inside, he further said. We do not disturb it, he said. From January 8th when Maithreepala Sirisena beats Mahinda, he and his family talk about to make a new party, but did not yet. We are looking forward to it, he further said.
