The president of Ranaviru Ekamuthuwa, Lawyer Mr. Ajith Prasanna spokes that, there is a ransom behind the incident of Mr. Gammanpila. He further said that parliament member Mr. Udaya Gammanpila was arrested by the request of Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka.

Minister Ranawaka has given the Australian person a ransom and said him to file the case, he said. Mr. Ajith Prasanna said this on yesterday 23rd of June 2016 in a press conference in Colombo.

He said that, "This is a tactic of Champika. CID wrote the complaint in Australia. Mr. Bryan Shadik has no need to come to Sri Lanka for this. We have a clear doubt about Champika Ranawaka has given him a ransom to this complaint. Because he has enough money to give ransom."

Mr. Ajith Prasanna further reported that the civil law of the country has fallen down and and it acts on the people who works opposite to the government. Civil law has not stand before Mr. Sajin Vaas Gunawardena, Mr. Mervin Silva and Mrs. Hirunika Premachandra, he further addressed.
