There is a whispering about the Joint Opposition these days. It is, some of the members looking for a jump to the government. Former president Mahinda Rajapaksha spokes about this and expressed his view.

He said that on the visit to see Jailed member of parliament Mr. Udaya Gammanpila and media spokesperson of National Freedom Front Mr. Muhammad Muzammil on yesterday 23rd of June 2016.

A mediaman asked about the truth of "jumping" and former president said that no one of Joint Opposition will join to the government. Media person also asked that is there any idea of formation of a new party and Mr. Mahinda said that there is no such and "We are still members of Sri Lanka Freedom Party".
